Scope and roles

Camie AI provides lead conversion, appointment booking, AI follow-up, reminder, tracking, and reporting services for residential solar companies and other appointment-based businesses. Depending on the engagement, Camie AI may process information on behalf of a customer or process limited information for our own website, sales, support, and service operations.

Customers remain responsible for the lead sources they connect, the permissions they collect, and the instructions they give us.

Information we process

We may process information such as:

• Lead and customer contact and business details, including name, work email, mobile number, company, role, and website.
• Form progress and qualification responses, including ad channels and spend, team size, CRM, priorities, and timing.
• SMS consent and preference records, including consent status, timestamp, source page, disclosure version, and the related phone number.
• Campaign source, offer context, and lead status.
• Conversation history and communication preferences.
• Appointment details, reminders, attendance, and outcomes.
• Website analytics, IP address, country inferred from IP, device information, and support requests.

How we use information

We use information to deliver and improve the service, respond to leads, assess service fit, manage appointment journeys, support customer teams, measure campaign outcomes, prevent misuse, preselect the appropriate phone country code, and maintain reliable operations. We do not use connected lead data to sell unrelated products to those leads.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with providers that help operate hosting, communications, calendars, analytics, security, and support. They receive only the information needed to provide their service. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transaction with appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell or share SMS opt-in consent data or phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We may provide this information to communications service providers solely as needed to deliver Camie AI messages and support the SMS program.

Retention and security

People may ask to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain information where applicable. Leads may also opt out of further communications using the instructions provided in the conversation. Some requests may need to be handled by the solar company or other business that collected the lead.
